Local foreclosure ads continue downward trend in face of national credit crisis; real estate for sale advertising shows no increase

With the global financial crisis blowing up, the outlook in Elk Grove appears to be improving somewhat. As the graph demonstrates, foreclosure activity in terms of the number of houses going to trustee sale has steadily decreased from July through the first week of September.

While the rate of number of houses going back to beneficiaries has slowed, there is no hard data readily available to show the number of empty homes in Elk Grove.
