Teen violence continues unabated

Teens continue to target other teens for electronic gear; possible kidnap?


Yesterday there were two incidents involving juvenile criminal activity.

The first incident happened at 4:00 pm yesterday afternoon as two juveniles physically assaulted and robbed a 12-year old boy near Big Horn Blvd. and Frye Creek Dr. The two suspects were described as black male juveniles and are still at large.

In the second incident, late last night a 16 year-old boy physically accosted a 22-year old male who refused to give the suspect money in the parking lot of Walgreen's on Laguna Blvd. The juvenile suspect was apprehended by police and transferred to juvenile hall.

In an unrelated incident, a 66 year-old female who was seated in her car at the Walgreen's at Laguna and Big Horn Blvd. at 7:00 pm when the suspect attempted to pull her from the car. The victim resisted the suspect who then fled the scene.

Police were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect is described as a black male in his 30's last seen wearing blue jeans and a red shirt.
