Two juveniles arrested in fight on Jospeph Kerr Middle School campus

Police use taser on one suspect


Two juvenile boys aged 15 and 17 were arrested Friday afternoon on the campus of Joseph Kerr Middle School following a fight. The arrest occurred at 3:38 pm, about 30 minutes after classes were dismissed.

According to Elk Grove Police, the 17 year old juvenile suspect fled on foot after officers attempted to detain him. Officer gave chase and were able to apprehend him after deploying the taser.

The two suspects were rumored to have been gang affiliated, but Elk Grove Police said the individual tasered was not a gang member. Neither of the suspects are students at Kerr.
