ELK GROVE, CA – On January 13, 2009 at 3:23 p.m., the Elk Grove Police Department responded to a bank robbery that had just occurred at the Bank of America located at 10046 Bruceville Rd.

An unknown male approached a Bank of America employee, displayed a silver handgun and demanded money. The employee complied with the suspect’s demands and gave him and undisclosed amount of currency. The suspect then fled the bank on foot towards a residential community. Officers responded to the area and began a systematic search of the area for the suspect. After an extensive search of the area, the suspect was not located. The subject was described as African American, twenty (20) years of age, 5’9” (five feet nine inches tall) with a skinny build. The suspect was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt with matching dark blue sweatpants.
