Teenage girl has iPod robbed


Among yesterdays incidents reported by the Elk Grove Police was another Walgreen's robbery and another teen-on-teen crime.

According to Elk Grove Police reports, the Walgreen's on Franklin Blvd was robbed last night by a knife-wielding man. The unknown suspect entered the store at 9:57 pm knife in hand and demanded money from the clerk who complied. The suspect then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as black male adult 20 to 30 years of age with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a ski mask with a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

This store was also robbed on New Year's Eve. In that incident the unknown robber used a handgun in the commission of the crime.

In another incident, police report a teenage girl was robbed of her iPod by an unknown male juvenile suspect. The victim was approached by the suspect and after a brief conversation, the suspect reached into the victims pocket and took the device.

The suspect fled the scene and police officers were unable to locate him.
