Elk Grove City Manager - Agenda Light For a Reason

Elk Grove city manager Laura Gill notes there is a reason why tonight's city council agenda is light.

Gill was responding to our most previous post that questioned if the agenda was sparse as a function of economic woes.

Not so, says Gill in a comment submitted to the posting:

Actually, the agenda is light by design. The City Council will be providing direction to staff regarding the types of amenities that it would like to see located at the Civic Center site. Instead of scheduling a special workshop for Council deliberation, this agenda item is "the main event" for tonight's meeting.
