Eyewitness helps thwart crime
Elk Grove Police arrested 20-year old Walter Dawson on suspicion of breaking and entry into a residential dwelling.
According to police, a witness saw Dawson attempting to enter the front window of a house on the 9000 block of Wild Willow Ct. in Elk Grove. When the witness confronted the suspect, the suspect fled on foot.
Police were able to locate Dawson and the eyewitness was able to positively identify him. Dawson was arrested and transported to the county jail.
