The Elk Grove City Council will officially move to honor Sgt. Bryan Hall at tonight’s meeting.
Hall, a 14 year Army veteran and graduate of Elk Grove High School, was killed by a suicide bomber in Iraq on Friday, April 10. Hall was the third person from Elk Grove to die in the Iraqi war.
The council will move to present a posthumous Certificate of Recognition to Hall. The award will be presented on Thursday.
Memorial services for Hall are being held tomorrow at 1:00 pm at the First Baptist Church on Stockton Blvd in Elk Grove.
