Dumb Duffers Arrested By Elk Grove Police For Narcotics, Parole Violations

Two would be duffers were arrested in what be called a case of mistaken golf course identity.


According to Elk Grove Police, officer responded to complaints that two men were hitting golf balls across Strathos Drive from Backer Park. Upon contact, officers discovered that 25-year old Jonathon Rutherford of Elk Grove was on a searchable probation and was found to be in possession of narcotics.

Police also searched the other duffer, 28 year old Amos Solansky of Sacramento and was found to be in possession of narcotics paraphernalia and a burglary tool. Both suspect were arrested and transferred to the county jail.
