An Elk Grove man was assaulted with a gun last night as he was walking from his parking lot to his home.

According to Elk Grove Police, the male adult victim was walking to his apartment at the Terracina at Laguna Creeks apartments on Franklin Boulevard at 11:50 PM when he was struck in the head by an unknown object. The victim fell to the ground and then was kicked several times by two assailants.


One of the assailants then pointed a black handgun at the victims head and demanded his personal property. The two suspects then fled the area on foot.

The gun wielding suspect is described as a black adult male wearing a gray sweatshirt with dark jeans. The other suspect is described a black adult female with a light complexion.

The victim sustained a minor laceration to the back of the head that was treated on the scene.
