Elk Grove Teen Arrested For Stealing Booze

An Elk Grove teenager was arrested Monday evening after he shoplifted three bottles of liquor.


According to Elk Grove Police, the 16-year old suspect entered the Safeway on Laguna Boulevard and Franklin, took the three bottles of liquor, concealed them and left without any attempt to pay. Officer responding to the call located the suspect in a nearby parking lot in possession of the liquor.

The teen was arrested and transferred to juvenile hall. The was no word if any of the liquor had been consumed.
