Franklin Boulevard will be paved with rubberized asphalt beginning next Tuesday, October 27, through Thursday, November 5, depending on weather conditions. Monday through Friday, Franklin Boulevard will be reduced to one lane between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The paving operation was originally contemplated to be done at night; however, due to cold temperatures and the temperature-sensitivity of the rubberized asphalt product, paving will be performed during the day.

Can't wait for this, a rubberized open grade surface is the best for bicycling, and the bike lanes have been torn up for quite some time...wa-hey!
