Two Sacramento teenage boys were arrested yesterday afternoon after they stole nine bottles of liquor from a grocery store.

According to police reports, several teenagers ran out of the Savemart store on Elk Grove-Florin Road with bottles of liquor. Responding officers located the vehicle the suspects fled the store in and conducted an enforcement stop.

Officers discovered the nine bottles of stolen liquor and were able to determine that two of the vehicle passengers were responsible for the theft. A Savemart representative signed a private person arrest form.

The two suspects were issued a misdemeanor citation and released to guardians.

Elk Grove man arrested in domestic violence incident


According to police reports, 29-year old Robert Sibner was involved in a verbal argument last night that escalated into a physical confrontation. Sibner reportedly pulled the victim off a bed causing the victim to fall on a floor fan.

When the victim attempted to call 911 for help, Sibner reportedly ripped the phone from the wall causing a disconnection. The suspect was arrested and transferred to the county jail and the victim was issued an emergency protective order.
