Elk Grove Police made arrests in two separate domestic violence incidents this weekend.
In the first incident on Friday morning, 49-year old Brian Cook of Elk Grove was involved in a verbal argument that escalated in into a physical confrontation. Cook allegedly struck the victim on the bottom torso and made other threats.
The suspect was arrested and transferred to the county jail.
The other incident happened on Saturday night and the victim suffered injuries that required medical attention.
According to police reports, 45-year old Ricky Gamble of Elk Grove allegedly was involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical confrontation. The suspect punched and pushed his victim causing visible injuries that required medical treatment.
Gamble was arrested and transferred to the county jail
Teenager attacks younger victim
In other weekend activity, a 13-year old Elk Grove male was attacked on the 9400 block of Soaring Oaks Drive.
According to police reports, a 16-year old Elk Grove male suspect approached the 13-year old and pushed him to the ground. The suspect then threw a soda can at the victim.
Upon arrival, officers were able to locate the suspect and taken into custody. The suspect was issued a citation and released to a guardian.
