Eyewitness Twarts Sacramento Man During Elk Grove Car Break-in

A Sacramento man was arrested last night after allegedly breaking into a car.

According to Elk Grove Police, 18-year old David Hubbard was seen breaking into a car located on the 8200 block of Burloak Way and was confronted by the witness.

When officers arrived, they detained Hubbard who was found to be in possession of items from the burglarized car. The suspect was arrested and transferred to the county jail.

Shoplifter arrested

Police also report the arrest of a shoplifter on Saturday night.

According to reports, 22-year old Justin Doerner of Elk Grove was detained by loss prevention personnel for shoplifting at the SaveMart store on Elk Grove-Florin Road and Bond Road.

Responding officers discovered the suspect had several outstanding warrants. Doerner was arrested and transferred to the county jail.
