Elk Grove Business Summit Tomorrow Night

The Elk Grove Community Connection, in conjunction with the City of Elk Grove and various local business interests, will host the "Support Elk Grove Business Summit" on Thursday, November 19, 2009.

The summit is part of an ongoing effort to support the "Think, Shop, Live Elk Grove" program designed to bolster local businesses and city coffers by encouraging area residents to make purchases at Elk Grove merchants. The summit hopes to highlight the program and promote its efforts.

The meeting will include a panel discussion that will feature local business and government leaders. Elk Grove City Council member Gary Davis will moderate the discussion.

“The City of Elk Grove is committed to supporting our local businesses in innovative and thoughtful ways," Davis said. "The Support Elk Grove Business Summit is intended to highlight our past efforts, promote the new Shop & Dine Elk Grove program, and engage businesses and the community in a productive dialogue on how we can better serve the Elk Grove business community. You don’t want to miss it.”

The meeting will be held at the Grocery Outlet at 8517 Bond Road with a networking reception at 6:30 and panel discussion starting at 7:00 pm.
