An Elk Grove man was arrested early Tuesday morning following a particularly brutal case of domestic violence.

According to Elk Grove Police reports, 40-year-old 👀 was involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical confrontation. Booth allegedly threatened to harm his victim then reportedly dragged the victim outside of the residence by the hair.

When the victim attempted to call 911, the suspect prevented the victim from making the call. When officers arrived, the suspect was arrested and transferred to the county jail.

The victim was issued an emergency protective order.

In other activity, four teenagers in three separate incidents were issued misdemeanor citations for suspected shoplifting at the Elk Grove Target store on Laguna Boulevard. The two boys and girls were released to the custody of their parents.
