Elk Grove Police arrested three juveniles yesterday, one of whom is only 12-years old, and are seeking two other juveniles in separate criminal incidents.
In the first incident, police officers responded to an in-progress burglary on the 9100 block of Bungalow Way. A witness observed three juvenile suspects kicking a side door of the residence which leads to the garage.
The witness called the police and saw that there was damage to the door frame as the suspects fled the area. Responding officers located the suspects nearby.
Two of the suspects, 12 and 13-year old boys were detained without incident. The third suspect, a 15-year old boy fled into the nearby neighborhood and police established a perimeter.
After locating the third suspect, the witness positively identified the three suspects. The trio were arrested and transferred to juvenile hall.
The other incident occurred on Whitelock Parkway near Bellaterra Drive when a 15-year old juvenile male was confronted by two older juvenile males.
According to the victim’s account, he was confronted by both suspects with one of them demanding all his possessions. Fearing for his safety, the victim relinquished his cell phone and both suspects fled the area on foot.
One suspect is described as Black male, 5’10”, 150 lbs. wearing black polo shirt with white stripes, tan khaki shorts and black shoes. The other suspect was described as either Black or Hispanic male 5’10”, 130 lbs., wearing a black zip-up jacket with white designs on the front and blue jeans.
