Poizner Concedes to Whitman, Kisses Away $24 Million

Moments ago Steve Poizner conceded to Meg Whitman in the race to be the Republican nominee to run for Governor of California against Attorney General and former Governor Jerry Brown.

As Poziner made his boilerplate concession speech about pushing forward his agenda, I couldn't help but think that Poizner was saying to himself as 'What was I thinking. I just blew $24 million to be a footnote in California political history.'

Goodbye Steve, we hardly knew ye.
