Polls Closed - Cooper and Jones Await Results

Two await results to see if they will meet again in November


With polls in Sacramento and California now officially closed, Jim Cooper and Scott Jones start the wait to see if either can declare outright victory in the race to replace John McGinness as the next Sheriff of Sacramento County.

Although both would like to wrap-up the victory in the next few hours, with two other candidates in the race, the chances to win the 50% + 1 to claim victory are greatly reduced. The other candidates include the Harold Stassen of Sacramento County politics and former FBI agent Frank Scafidi who ran as as write-in candidate.
