Summer Pavement Work Planned on Sheldon Interchange

Beginning mid-June, work on the Sheldon Interchange will require daytime and evening lane closures on Sheldon Road, East Stockton Blvd. and West Stockton Blvd.

The City does not anticipate the closures will create significant traffic delays during peak commute times.

Detour signs will be placed in advance to notify drivers about any off-peak detours.

The City expects the work to be complete by the end of summer.

The City’s contractor will be making repairs to the work performed in the fall of 2009. Summer is an optimal time to conduct the work due to higher temperatures and consistent weather patterns. The City will not be responsible for the cost of the repairs. When complete, the final product will meet or exceed the contract requirements.
