Elk Grove Mother Driving with Flat Tires and Daughter Arrested for DUI

Elk Grove Police arrested an Elk Grove mother after she was seen driving her car with two flat tires.

According to police reports, a witness reported seeing  a car operating on two flat tires on the 8700 block of Los Banos Way. Responding officers located the vehicle and made contact with the driver, 31-year old Amy Britt.

Upon contact, officers noticed the suspect displayed object signs of impairment. Officers also discovered Britt was operating the vehicle with her three year old daughter as a passenger.

The suspect was arrested and transferred to the county jail. The suspects daughter was released to the child’s father.

In addition police made six other DUI arrests over the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
