*SACRAMENTO MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT: Qualifications: Candidate shall be a registered voter within the ward in the district.
4 Directors, Wards 3, 4, 6 and 7 – Directors are elected by Ward.
FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICTS – Qualifications: For positions elected at large, candidate shall be a registered voter of the district. For positions elected by division, candidate shall be a registered voter of the division within the district.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that official nomination petitions and Declarations of Candidacy for eligible Sacramento County residents desiring to file for an elective office may be obtained from the Sacramento County Elections Division, 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento, CA 95823-2315.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that filing will open on July 12, 2010 and will close on Friday, August 6, 2010, after which time no Declarations of Candidacy will be accepted for filing. If an incumbent does not file his or her Declaration of Candidacy on or before August 6, 2010 the period for all non-incumbents to obtain and file Declarations of Candidacy will be extended to August 11, 2010.

Proposed City of Arden Arcade
Jill LaVine, Sacramento Registrar of Voters, announced that the nomination period for city council positions for the Proposed City of Arden Arcade in Sacramento County, will be available July 12 through August 6 at the Sacramento County Elections office located at 7000 65th Street, Suite A, Sacramento California. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
To qualify for the city council position you must reside within the proposed city limits of Arden Arcade and be a registered voter (Government code 34882).
The question to be submitted to qualified voters is as follows:
Shall the order adopted June 25, 2010, by Sacramento County LAFCo, ordering the incorporation of the territory described and designated as “City of Arden Arcade” be confirmed subject to terms and conditions specified in the order, including payments to Sacramento County commencing FY 2012-2013 and terminating after $219,000,000 is paid, and for the City to levy and collect the same taxes, fees, charges, assessments and rates currently imposed by Sacramento County, as particularly described in the order?
