An Elk Grove cell phone storm was robbed yesterday afternoon by an armed robber.
According to Elk Grove Police reports, the suspect entered the Metro PCS store located at the Winco Shopping Center on the 8100 block of Sheldon Road and pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded money and cell phones. Fearing for their safety, the employee complied and gave the robber an unspecified amount of cash and two cell phones.
The suspect fled the store and responding officers were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect was described as a black male adult, 5’10”, heavy set, wearing sunglasses with a scruffy beard and white shirt with blue jean shorts.
