Davies Ononiwu announced this weekend he received major labor endorsements in his run for the Elk Grove City Council.
Davies Ononiwu announced this weekend he received major labor endorsements in his run for the Elk Grove City Council.
Ononiwu, who is running for the District 2 seat of the Elk Grove City Council received his labor day weekend endorsements from the Sacramento Central Labor Council of the AFL-CIO, California Nurses Association/National Nurses Organizing Committee (CNA/NNOC) Political Action Committee and the Chauffeurs, Teamsters and Helpers Local Union No. 150.
Bill Camp from the Sacramento Central Labor Council AFL - CIO said Ononiwu has successfully commitment to good jobs, safe pensions, and good quality health care for every working person.
"Our members believe you will lead the fight for better wages, family health care and secure pensions for working families," Camp said.
In addition to the labor endorsements, Ononiwu also reported four individual endorsements. Those endorsement come from Chuck Dawson, Director, Florin Resource Conservation District – Elk Grove Water Board; Tom Neslon, Director, Florin Resources Conservation District - Elk Grove Water Board;

Yeah, that's what we need..a union stooge on the City COuncil!
This is certainly a surprise....running against your very good friend, Pat Hume for City Council. Didn't know "friends" did that! Or maybe there's something else going on here...what do you say Davies?
