Elk Grove PD seeks armed robbery suspect

On November 18, 2010 at 8:27 p.m., the Elk Grove Police Department responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call at 9099 Union Park Drive (Statewide Storage). Upon arrival, officers located a 48-year-old male suffering from a non-life threatening stab wound. The victim indicated that he had been robbed and beating by a male and a female while inside the main house of the storage facility.

Through investigative efforts, detectives were able to identify the individuals responsible for the crime as 35-year-old Sacramento resident James Peacock and 25-year-old Sacramento resident Julie Fox. Detectives arrested Julie Fox in North Sacramento on November 24, 2010. Detectives have been unable to locate James Peacock and a $500,000.00 warrant has been issued for his arrest. Peacock was armed with a revolver during this crime and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Callers to Crime Alert can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00. Tips can also be sent via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message.
