Shopper held up in Winco parking lot

A female shopper was held up late last night at the Winco parking lot.

According to Elk Grove Police reports, the 43-year old victim was inside her vehicle at the Winco grocery store on Sheldon Road when she was approached by a black male wearing a baseball hat and brown shirt. The suspect displayed a handgun to the victim and demanded her purse.

After taking the victim's purse, the suspect fled on foot and was seen getting into a white sedan. The victim was not hurt.
