Elk Grove Man Robbed at Gunpoint

An Elk Grove man was robbed at gunpoint Friday night as he was walking along Elk Grove-Florin Road.

According to Elk Grove Police Department reports, the victim was walking with a friend when they were approached by five unknown suspects. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded money from the victim.

The victim gave the gunman his cell phone and an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect and his accomplices fled the area on foot.

The suspect was described as a black male adult, 6'0" with a stock build, wearing a gray sweater and dark colored pants.
