The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying two suspects believed to be responsible for two armed robberies last month.
In each robbery, the suspects entered the business after closing and demanded money from an employee. One of the suspects displayed a small caliber handgun, while the other suspect retrieved money from the register.

* Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at 10:00 p.m., 8400 block of Elk Grove Florin Rd. (Togo’s / Baskin Robbins)
* Saturday, April 23, 2011, at 9:30 p.m., 9300 block of Big Horn Blvd. (Iron Wok Restaurant)
The suspects were described as African-American males, 17 to 20 years of age, approx. six feet tall (6'0") and skinny. One suspect had his face covered and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with dark colored pants.

Business owners and residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activity, especially around restaurants at closing time, immediately to the Elk Grove Police Department. Anyone with information regarding this robbery is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Detective Bureau at (916) 478-8060 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357).
Callers to Crime Alert can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00. Tips can also be sent via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message.
