Elk Grove Police Seek Help Locating At-Risk Adult

UPDATED 6:00 a.m. - Mr. Musheer has been located and returned home

The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating an at risk missing person, 65-year-old Jafar Musheer (photo attached), who suffers from dementia.

Jafar Musheer was last seen in front of his residence (5300 block of Deepdale Way) this afternoon around 4:00 p.m. Mr. Musheer is described as an African-American male adult, 6’0”, 165 lbs., bald with brown eyes and glasses. He was last seen wearing a long orange shirt with tan pants and red/white/black shoes. Mr. Musheer recently moved to Elk Grove from Ohio and is not familiar with the area.
