With the momentum of the "Occupy Wall Street" movement gaining speed, activist are planning a protest this Saturday at an Elk Grove branch of one of the country's most unpopular financial institutions.
Who is it?
Members of the well known liberal activist group MoveOn.org is planning a protest at the Bank of America branch located on Franklin Blvd. and Laguna Blvd on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
As part of their "Make Wall Street Pay Action," MoveOn is planning the Elk Grove event as well as another at the downtown Sacramento Bank of America branch located at 400 Capitol Mall.
On their website, MoveOn said that they "will take action against the biggest offenders on Wall Street: Bank of America, Chase, and other Wall St. banks. We'll demonstrate that we refuse to support their businesses if they do not support us and America by paying their fair share."

Thanks for commenting on this event. It may have made a ripple in Elk Grove, or maybe even a splash! I heard that a lot of people moved their money from the big banks to community credit unions and I'm happy about that..People are making their voice heard by talking with their wallets. I think it will make a difference.
