Two arrests for domestic violence

An early morning traffic stop resulted in the arrest of a Sacramento man for narcotics possession.

According to Elk Grove Police reports, 49-year-old Jerry Bodiford was stopped early this morning on the 9000 block of Vicino Drive for a vehicle code violation. The suspect was reportedly found to be in possession of a crystalline substance.

A test of the substance demonstrated that it was presumptive positive for methamphetamine. Bodiford was arrested and transported to the main jail.

In other activity, police made two arrests in domestic violence incidents. In one of the cases the suspect displayed and threatened his victim with handgun.
