Two victims sustain visible injuries
Elk Grove Police made two separate domestic violence arrests yesterday that saw victims suffering visible injuries.
In the first incident, police arrested 45-year-old Rickey Holden of Elk Grove after he reportedly pushed his victim who fell and hit their head on a bathtub resulting in an injury. Responding officers deployed a taser on Holden after he reportedly failed to comply with their orders.
In the second incident police arrested 28-year-old Sara Gonigan of Elk Grove after she allegedly struck her victim in the head with a rock. After striking her victim, Gonigan reportedly began swinging a golf club at the victim who had fled to a nearby park.
Both suspects were arrested and transferred to the county jail.
