A call to the police early yesterday morning about suspicious activity led to the arrest of an Elk Grove man.

According to Elk Grove Police, officers were dispatched to Boreal Way and Careyback Ave. after receiving a call about a suspicious person looking into parked vehicles. Upon contact 26-year-old Kenneth Linden appeared to display objective signs of impairments and was detained by officers.

A records check revealed that Linden had two outstanding arrest warrants. After being arrested, Linden was found to be in possession of car burglary tools, the keys to a car that had been reported stolen and narcotics.

After being arrested Linden was transferred to the county jail where he remain in custody.
