With polls having closed at 8 p.m., Democrat Dr. Richard Pan leads the six person field with 41 percent 7,834 votes and Elk Grove City Council Member Republican Sophia Scherman is in second place with 17 percent 3,195 votes. Republican Tony Amador is in third place with 13 percent 2,601 votes.
