Also catch tagger; Another man robbed at stop sign

In what be classified in the not-to-bright criminal activity category, Elk Grove Police recovered an out-of-state stolen car yesterday morning at the police department.

According to police reports, officers observed a minivan parked in the police department parking lot and after running a records check, found the vehicle had been stolen from Dollar Rent a Car in Peoria, Az. Officers contacted 24-year old Julian Dixon of Sacramento who was arrested and taken to the county jail

Another person who was with Dixon, 22-year old Samantha Priolo of Sacramento was found to have an active misdemeanor warrant for her arrest. The suspect was issued a citation with a new court date and released.

Elk Grove officers also arrested 20-year old Corey Lahn of Elk Grove after an officer observed him tagging a wall at the Starbucks store located on the 8300 block of Elk Grove-Florin Road. Lahn was issued a citation and a court date and released.

Police also report a man was robbed while at a stop sign near Harbor Point Drive and Laguna Blvd. The man was approached from behind by possibly two unknown suspects and robbed the victims watch.

The suspects fled and there was no physical description of the robbers provided.
