Elk Grove Holiday Inn Robbed at Gunpoint

One suspect described as pre-teen

The Elk Grove Holiday Inn Express on Maritime Drive Drive was robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning.

According to Elk Grove Police, two unknown suspects approached the front counter while third suspect sat outside. One of the suspects pointed a gun at the desk clerk and and demanded money while making threats.

The clerk complied with the demands and gave the gunman all the money from the cash drawer. The clerk was then ordered to lie on the floor and the three suspects ran away from the location.

Responding officers were unable to locate the suspects The first suspect was described as a black male adult, 20’s, 5'11", 140lbs, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, with a black mask covering his face, and gloves. The second suspect described as a juvenile (approx. 12 years of age), who was skinny and short wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a black mask covering his face.
