With election day fast approaching, two Elk Grove candidates will be holding fund raising events in the coming days.
Elk Grove Council Member and mayoral candidate Gary Davis will be holding a fundraiser from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday Oct. 2. The event will be held at the Holiday Inn Express on Maritime Drive and is being sponsored by the Building Industry Association, Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee and Region Builders.
This Saturday, Elk Grove Unified School District Trustee and Area 6 candidate Jake Rambo will hold his campaign's second major event with a "family fun raiser" at Steve's Pizza on W. Stockton Blvd. from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Among Rambo's guest will be Rancho Cordova Mayor David Sanders and Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones.
Elk Grove mayoral candidate, who has eschewed any fundraising efforts, will be holding another of her community outreach meetings this Thursday night. This week's meeting will be held at the Starbucks at 5060 Laguna Blvd @ Franklin(Bel Air Shopping Center) at 7 p.m.
