A bicyclist on W. Stockton Blvd. was robbed late last night by two unknown suspects.
According to Elk Grove Police, the 49-year old victim was near Wooded Brook Drive when two men approached demanding his cell phone. One of the two suspects reached inside his waistband and simulated a handgun.
The victim got off his bike and one of the suspects attempted to punch him, but missed. The victim then fled the area on foot.
Responding officers were able to locate the bike a short distance away but not the suspects. The first suspects was described as a black male, 18-20 years of age, wearing a gray sweater and the other suspects was described as a black male, 18-20 years of age, wearing a red shirt and simulated a gun in his waistband.
