Rambo Endorsed by Albiani in EGUSD Race

EGUSD Area 6 Trustee Jake Rambo and CCSD Direct Gil Albaini, who has endorsed Rambo's reelection bid.

Elk Grove Unified School District Area 6 Trustee and candidate Jake Rambo announced he has received the endorsement of Cosumnes Community Services Director Gil Albiani.

Albiani, long active in Elk Grove, cited Rambo’s commitment to improving educational facilities at the district’s older sites as a factor in his endorsement.

“The Albiani family has a long-history of service to our schools,” Rambo said. “As the father of EGUSD employees and grandfather of current students, Gil has a personal connection to the success of our district. I look forward to working with Gil to develop new partnerships between the CCSD and EGUSD.”

Building on his previous endorsements, Rambo stressed the bipartisan coalition supporting his reelection to the school board. Aside from endorsements from Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones and Rancho Cordova Mayor David Sander, Rambo has also earned the support of AFSCME Local 258, who represents the largest group of EGUSD classified employees.

“Democrats, Republicans, and Independents recognize my commitment to placing our kids above politics," Rambo said. "Public education is not about red or blue. It is about ensuring every child reaches their full potential."
