A Thornton, Calif man was arrested after a brief struggle with police officers.
According to Elk Grove Police, 48-year old John Powell was stopped for a vehicle code violation and upon contact displayed signs of impairment. After being handcuffed, the suspect had a brief struggle with arresting officers.
Once inside the vehicle, the suspect kicked the car's side window. After being processed at the Elk Grove Police Department, Powell was booked into the county jail.
