Adult Teen Arrested for Cell Phone, Bike Theft in Elk Grove Park

An 18-year old Sacramento man was arrested yesterday afternoon on suspicion of stealing a cell phone and a bicycle.

According to Elk Grove Police, the 13-year old male victim had leaned his bike against a fence and placed the a cell phone on a bench in Wackford Park on Bruceville Road. Suspect Deshawn Robinson and another unidentified suspect then reportedly took the bike and phone and fled the area. 

Responding officers were able to locate Robinson and was found in possession of the cell phone and bike he reportedly stole. After being positively identified, Robinson was arrested and taken to the county jail were he remains in custody on $10,000 bail.

The other suspect was not located.
