Wal Mart Shoplifting Suspect Arrested for Outstanding Felony Warrant

A man suspected of shoplifting Friday was also found to have outstanding felony warrants.

According to Elk Grove Police, 31-year old Elmer Augustines Alido of Sacramento was detained by loss preventions personnel at the Wal Mart store on Elk Grove Blvd. after he was observed shoplifting. Reportedly the suspect gave a responding police officer false identification.

A records check of the suspects true identity revealed that he had an active felony warrant out for his arrest. Alido was arrested then taken to the county jail where he remains in custody on a $90,000 bail from Yolo County.
