Next Tuesday's meeting of the Elk Grove-South County Democratic club ought to be lively as members will vote on one of the region's more interesting intra-party races.

At stake is the club's highly sought endorsement for the District 6 California Senatorial race between Democratic rivals and California Assembly Members Roger Dickinson and Dr. Richard Pan. Both candidates will face off in the June primary to replace Darrell Steinberg who is being termed out.

At the club's December meeting both candidates made presentations to a standing-room-only audience.

In addition to voting on their endorsement, the two Democratic candidates for Sacramento County District Attorney, Maggie Krill and Todd Leras, are scheduled to attend.

The meeting will be held at the Elk Grove Public Library located at Elk Grove Blvd. and Elk Grove-Florin Road and starts at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
