'A Walk to Remember' Commemorates Fallen Elk Grove Soldier

On April 12, the fifth annual "Walk to Remember" will be held at the Elk Grove Regional Park. 

The 5k walk is held in honor of SFC Bryan E. Hall of Elk Grove, who along with four other U.S. Army soldiers was killed in combat on April 10, 2009 in Mosul, Iraq. The fundraising walk also honors all American military personnel who have died in service to their country.

The check in starts at 9 a.m and the  walk starts at 10 a.m. The walk will be held in the Elk Grove Regional Park.

More information on registration is available at www.WalkToRememberBryanHall.com. Proceeds from the walk will be split between the Bryan E. Hall Scholarship and an education fund established for Hall's seven-year old daughter.
