The City of Elk Grove will sponsor the Salute to the Red, White & Blue on Friday, July 4, 2014. The 18th annual family-friendly event will be held at the Elk Grove Regional Park.

The day's event will culminate with the fireworks show that will start at approximately 9:30 p.m. Aside from the show, there will be other activities at the park throughout the day that include the following:

  • No-host pancake breakfast - 8 to 10 a.m.
  • Classic Car Show 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Let Freedom Ride bike and stroller parade - 11 a.m.
  • Live musical performances by Rachel Steele and Road 88 and  Joy and Madness
All the activities are free, however there is a $10 parking fee. The city will also provide free bus service to the park starting at 3 p.m. Schedules and route information is available here.

'Thank you' to the city for holding this event...Elk Grove is a beautiful city.... lots of things to do..
