Elk Grove Police Arrest Probationer, Found in Possession of Stungun

A Sacramento woman on probation was arrested early Thursday morning following a routine traffic stop.

The suspect, 32-year old Diana Erica Vega (pictured above) was operating her vehicle on Oakbriar Circle when Elk Grove Police stopped her for a vehicle code violation. A records check revealed Vega was on probation and had an active arrest warrant.

A search of Vega's vehicle led to the discovery of a controlled substance, narcotics paraphernalia and a stungun. Vega was arrested and booked into the county jail where she remains in custody.
