Elk Grove Police arrested a suspect yesterday morning after he was found to have outstanding arrests warrants.

Officers were dispatched to the 8600 block of Chambray Road after receiving calls regarding a man riding a bicycle and reportedly casing houses. Responding officers located and contacted 32-year old Jonathan James Curry of Elk Grove.

Upon contact, Curry reportedly provided false identity when questioned by officers. After determining his actual identity, a records check revealed Curry had an active arrest warrant and was on probation.

Curry is being held at the Sacramento County Jail on $60,000 bail for violation of probation, false impersonation, and an arrest warrant from Placer County. Curry is scheduled for arraignment on Wednesday, October 5.
