Woman Robbed at Gunpoint at Elk Grove Shopping Center By Masked Suspect

A woman was robbed at gunpoint late yesterday morning in the parking lot of an Elk Grove shopping center.

At 11 a.m. the female victim was walking to her car in a shopping center parking lot on the 9100 block of East Stockton Boulevard when a dark colored four-door sedan drove up to her quickly and stopped. A passenger in the sedan exited, brandished a handgun at the victim and stole her purse.

The suspect vehicle, driven by an unknown male, fled the location towards the west end of the parking lot. The gunman was described as an unknown race male, 6-0, 180 lbs., wearing a black ski mask and black clothing. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspects or the vehicle involved.
