Stockton Police Investigate Two Shootings, One Resulting in Injury

The Stockton Police Department respond to two shootings on the evening of Monday, November 14.

The first incident happened at 6:55 p.m. on the 600 block of Oak street in the Civic District. The adult male victim was walking in the area when he heard several gunshots behind him and then realized he had been shot.

The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening gunshot wounds. The victim was unable to offer any information on the suspect. 

The second Civic District shooting happened shortly after 10 p..m. at the intersection of Madison and Poplar. The victim was stopped at the intersection when saw the suspect pull out a handgun so he quickly left the scene.  

Fearing for his safety, he drove of and went to a friend’s house where he discovered his vehicle had been hit multiple times by gunfire. The unknown suspect was described as black male adult, 20 to 25 years old, 5’09”, 140-150 pounds wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and light blue jeans.
